Step One: Find an Image for Your Minecraft Server Icon

Let's begin the tutorial by finding an image for the Minecraft server icon. You might consider the initials of your server name, custom logos that establish a unique identity, creative symbol sets, and character names. You can use Pinterest and Google to browse existing server icons for more inspiration. Here are a few examples.

Step 2: Upload an image to the PNG Maker

Open your browser and visit the PNG Maker by Kapwing to begin creating your Minecraft server icon. All server icons must be 64 x 64 pixels and have a PNG extension. This tool is free and supports both requirements. The PNG Maker can be used on any device such as a tablet or a smartphone.

You have several options for opening the editor from here. To open the editor, you have three options: click or tap the get started button, upload a document from the file browser, or copy and paste an image URL. This is the best option if you already own an image.

To help you find the perfect image click on the Get Started button. Then use the Plugins tools to browse images from Pixabay, Pexels, and more. In addition to images, Pixabay provides free illustrations and vectors by talented creators, perfect for server icons. To get results, enter a keyword in the search box. Step Three: Edit Minecraft Server Icon

To resize your canvas to the best dimensions for a server icons, click Custom under Output size on the right side. In each space, type 64. To save the changes, click Done.

To open the remove background tool, click on or tap the eraser. This will convert your image into a PNG, and make the background transparent. You can adjust the eraser's size or use the magic wand to quickly select the background and isolate it from the icon. You can zoom in/out to make precise edits.

If your image is already transparent and you need to remove the background color from the canvas, click the transparent icon under Background Color.

After completing the design specifications, we can start customizing our server icon. You can browse shapes using the Elements Tool. Also, the image search tool can be used to locate overlays, graphics, borders, and other graphic elements. Drag the ends to adjust the size of your element and reposition it on the canvas.

If you wish to have a different look, you can use our adjust tool. Click on the image, click Adjust and drag the circle from left-to-right to reduce or increase the intensity. You can also click on Filters to select from 17 options. Click a filter to view a preview.

Step Four: Export and Upload to Minecraft Server

To begin processing your project, review your icon and then click the Export Image button at the top.

After it finishes processing, change its file name to "server-icon". This file name is required to upload the icon to your Minecraft server, then click Download to save it to your device. To remove the watermark, sign in with your email address. You'll get a workspace that you can store and edit content for as long as two days.
