Hi!

Sorry for the stupid title. Anyway, I've never really played WoW. It was subscription-based, and my family isn't the type of family that would spend a lot of money on games.

But I felt a bit nostalgic and wanted to give it a try. Thanks to this reddit, I discovered the Elysium Server and I absolutely love it. It has a very oldschool feel and is amazing. It's trying very hard to emulate the Blizzard-like experience.

Now, I was curious if there was a server similar to that with the latest expansion (Battle for Azeroth). Or is this the Firestorm server that's listed on reddit like this?

Play a MOP server, retail is the same since cata/mop except that it gets worse each expension

Private servers Draenor to current tend to be low popped and poorly scripted. You can probably do a Pandaria server, but I personally can't think of one but they do exist

Tauri is MoP. There are not many options if you want a newer expansion. From what I heard (wowfreakz), and saw (firestorm), the BFA options available aren't very good.

I don't know what you did to get downvoted. However, you are 100% right to do a few odd jobs in order to have enough money to play at retail if you want the current experience.
