HOW DO I UPDATE MY WORLD?

The day has finally arrived: Minecraft's Caves & Cliffs Part II replace has come to each Java and Bedrock Editions of the sport, bringing new world generation and some quite lovely new caves.

We've covered the way the brand new terrain era works already once we bought our mitts on the Snapshot earlier this year, however after several extra tweaks, patches, fixes and updates, the official launch of Caves & Cliffs Half II is a much more stable experience.

To obtain the brand new update on your Change, go to the Minecraft icon on your property display screen, press the + button to open the Options, go to "Software Update" and select "Through the Web". This may test for the update, though it could have downloaded it robotically already.

As for updating your current worlds, Mojang have offered directions:

How do I update my world?
On Bedrock Version, once you have updated to 1.18 and go to load up an current world, you will be proven a prompt and asked in case you would like to make a backup copy of that world. In All about minecraft servers and minecraft in general do need to make a backup, make sure to hit the immediate after which click on by to replace your world and begin taking part in.

Sadly, a number of the features initially planned for Caves & Cliffs Half II - just like the Deep Dark biome, the Warden, and archaeology - have been pushed back to the next update, 1.19, referred to as "The Wild Update".

This is the changelog for Bedrock Edition (that is the one on Swap):

- Elevated the world peak and depth, including 50% more vertical space to build and explore
- New cave technology to discover below your existing worlds
- New cave and mountain biomes like Lush Caves and Jagged Peaks
- Drastically updated and improved biome, cave, and ore technology
- Added a number of new music tracks to enjoy during gameplay
- Mounted over 70 bugs, issues, and parity modifications
