MINECRAFT BEDROCK AND JAVA EDITIONS TO BE SOLD TOGETHER ON PC

Minecraft on PC has always been available for download in two separate editions known as the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition. This will change on the 7th of June since both versions will be available to purchase on PCs.

You might be wondering what this means for you. It's a small difference. You can now purchase both editions of Minecraft in one purchase. This means that there is only one vanilla Minecraft version that is available on Windows. If you already own Bedrock or Java edition, there's no need to fret. Mojang notes that all players that have either Java Edition or Bedrock Edition will be able to get the edition they don't currently have for free, and right from the Minecraft Launcher. This could take up to three days for it to appear however.

Heading into the future, Jave and Bedrock will remain distinct games with different features. There have been no changes to the features. The only difference is that you'll end up having both versions by default when you purchase Minecraft on your Windows PC, with both versions being inside the same launcher.

Java is available only for PC, Mac, and Linux systems. The Bedrock Edition is also available on PC, Android, iOS, Windows 10 Mobile, and many consoles such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and so and so on. Java is the most flexible version of Minecraft on PC however it doesn't allow cross-platform play. Additionally https://minecraft-servers.biz/ has a higher performance limit and tends to appear a bit more appealing on gaming computers with higher end specs and the Bedrock Edition is designed to play smoothly, and generally features shorter loading times.
