MINECRAFT LAUNCHES 1.19 SNAPSHOTS, ADDING FROGS, AND 3D AUDIO

We've had an earlier experimental snapshot of Minecraft's upcoming major update, but now the regular 1.19 snapshot series is out with snapshot 22w11a. Mojang's Minecraft developers are now focused on the Wild update. Expect weekly beta versions of Minecraft: Java Edition, where you can enjoy those new features as soon as they are available.

The latest snapshot lets you play with the Deep Dark biome, frogs and tadpoles as well as mangroves, mud blocks, and the Sculk systems. You can also explore 3D audio that is directional in the sound settings, a feature that "is best enjoyed with headphones".

Sculk and Deep Dark were already implemented in the 1.19 snapshot in February. But Frogs are now beginning to shine. Frogs can "jump", "swim", "walk on land", "croak", and "eat small magma cubes, making a froglight to drop". Hunter 's just normal frog stuff. The official website has complete patch notes.
