The arrival of Fortnite on the Nintendo Change has been marred by Sony’s decision to not allow full cross-platform assist between the PlayStation and the Swap console.
The popular battle royale sport was released on the Swap on Tuesday, and can now enable gamers utilizing an Xbox One, Laptop, Mac computer or mobile to choose up their Change and carry on where they left off.
Nonetheless, Sony has blocked the identical system from its PlayStation 4 - as an alternative asking customers to create a new account.

Meanwhile, rival gaming large Microsoft poked fun at Sony’s stance, with its official UK Twitter account posting a message to Nintendo asking if the corporate needed to “play some Fortnite later?”.

Sony has not commented on the incident however has blocked cross-play capabilities for other video games in the past, for video games together with Minecraft.
It comes as the E3 gaming convention opened in Los Angeles.
