HOW TO FIX MINECRAFT LAUNCHER INSTALLER NOT WORKING

Although Minecraft can be played on virtually every device, some prefer playing it on a PC. This lets you play both Java and Bedrock editions. Before you can play the games you'll have to download them onto your hard drive. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work here are some tips to resolve the issue.

Sign out and check the date, time, and region

If you're having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we suggest first restarting your computer and signing out and then return to the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, depending on which one you are using to access the launcher. Now that all versions of Minecraft are on Game Pass, you can try installing the launcher using the Game Pass app. To sign out, click on your profile icon on the upper right corner of the window and then sign Out.

Also, make sure that your time zone and date are being displayed correctly on your computer. If they're not, click the date and time in the lower-right of your screen and select to adjust date/time. Make MINECRAFT SERVERS that Set time automatically is turned on and that Set time zone automatically is turned on. Under the section Sync your clock, click Sync now. Before you close the Settings, click Region on the left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure the right region is selected.

Troubleshoot Windows Store and then update Windows

- Open up Settings - Select Update and Security.

- Click on the Troubleshoot tab and then select Additional troubleshooters.

Scroll to the bottom and choose Windows Store Apps.

Follow this link to reset your computer.

Open Settings and click Update & Security if you haven't updated Windows in some time. Click Check for updates under Windows Update.

Reset the store

If the troubleshooting doesn't work, we suggest that you reset your store. Click on your search bar near the Start button and input the command wsreset. Click the Run command and a black box will appear. It is best to wait until the black box disappears, and the store opens again.

Then, open Settings and click on Apps. Find the Microsoft Store in the search bar. Click it and select Advanced Options. Scroll down, and then select Reset. You will be required to sign in again.
