When I was diagnosed with relapse of hodgkin lymphoma, I thought that my life was over. It felt like my world was crashing down and I was being pulled into a deep hole. My first step in getting better was to reach out to friends and family and make sure that they were doing well. It's important to have a support system when going through something as tough as this. I also reached out to people who had been through what I was going through. They gave me a lot of advice that helped me get through the tough times.When I was first diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, I had a hard time accepting it. I was only 23 years old and this was my first serious illness. The idea of having to take chemo treatments for the rest of my life and possibly never being able to have children seemed too overwhelming. After a few months of denial, I decided to fight this disease and underwent treatment.
