YES, MOJANG PLANS TO FLESH OUT MINECRAFT ON IOS/ANDROID


As you may remember, Minecraft Pocket Version - the diminutive iOS and Android model of the block-based mostly phenomenon - isn't actually Minecraft. At present, it permits players to construct creations as they see fit, but lacks most of the options found in the Computer and Mac versions. Particularly, there is no such thing as a Survival mode and all the issues it entails, including item crafting, enemies, food, and so on.


In a recent weblog submit, Mojang's Daniel Kaplan said that the company plans to remedy the lack of Survival mode, at the least partially. He stated that the objective is not to completely "replicate" the complete experience of Minecraft, as many options simply don't "match the touch platform." That stated, many acquainted features are deliberate, including animals, enemies and merchandise crafting. Mojang can be "experimenting" with caves, although the implementation nonetheless wants work.
