The Steam Deck Xbox games list has been expanded today, Microsoft reveals, to include 11 popular Xbox-published games now verified or playable on Valve's system. Although just another blog or something does not include the Steam Deck Halo Infinite compatibility that Microsoft had wanted however, it does include Fable and Gears Tactics as well as Minecraft Dungeons and all other Halo games that aren't FPS-based.
As PCGamesN reported yesterday, there are now over 22,000 Steam Deck Verified or Playable games, however there are still about 1,000 Unsupported games. Unfortunately, some of the Unsupported ones include such major Xbox games as Halo Infinite and Gears 5, mostly thanks to issues with Easy Anti-Cheat.
It is possible for Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream Xbox games on Steam Deck, anyone who wants to download them onto Steam Deck is out of luck in the majority of instances. Good news, then, as Xbox Games Studios today reveals another batch of Steam Deck compatible games - that unfortunately doesn't include the latest Halo or Gears games, but does include Halo Wars, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and the only major Fable game for PC.
