So one after the other, pal after friend has been automatically been getting the new launcher which has a (my opinion) worse lay out with some features added and a few removed. Well, I obtained it right now and in a mere 45 minutes found out the solution. Unfortunately, the best way I may do that was by having a again up of .minecraft from before the new launcher got here out. Fortunately, I will hyperlink a Mediafire download of the .jar it's worthwhile to run the outdated launcher.

1. Back up your current .minecraft folder. If you don't know right here that is, seek for "Roaming" on your computer. After that, make a duplicate and drag it onto your desktop or any where else in your pc where you recognize the place to get to again.
2. Obtain the mediafire hyperlink above. It is a simple .jar file that I personally uploaded myself and can assure it works as a result of each my brother and that i examined it ourselves and it works.
3. Getspout.Org Running the launcher.jar file will take a short amount of time at first, but will then open the outdated launcher.
The following STEPS ARE Only for People Who've RAN The new LAUNCHER

When you have beforehand ran the brand new launcher in your Computer, it would delete your whole "profiles" in the bottom left of the launcher menu and log you out of all present account currently signed in in your Computer, so be sure you might have everything you want earlier than agreeing to the pop-up.
4. Now, after you've got ran the launcher.jar, move any folders you wanted to maintain (like "mods" resourepacks", "variations", etc.) out of your backup .minecraft folder again to the one in "Roaming".
5. An preliminary glitch I had when operating the game was no sound. Another glitch my brother skilled (almost certainly beacuse he forgot step 4) was he did not move his again up folders back in, and some other things like which are expected. Mine is mounted and my bro's is too, so hopefully nothing else happens that's everlasting to others out there.
