Sheet-fed machines and web offset machines are the two different types of offset Printing Machine. A sheet-fed machine employs an automated suction bar to feed single sheets of paper into the machine, which uses mechanical registration for consistent printing. For short-run projects like magazines, brochures, catalogues, etc., these machines are ideal. Web offset, on the other hand, has nothing to do with the WWW (World Wide Web) and was created before the WWW was even a thing. When referring to Offset Printing Machine, the term "web" describes the enormous roll of paper that is mounted on the device and used to feed paper into the device in a continuous stream. These devices are ideal for large-scale printing projects like newspapers.
