How To Upload A Custom Jar File For Minecraft

There are many different versions a Minecraft server can run. Each one uses its own jar files to properly launch the game. Our game panel has access to many of these jars, however, you may find that the version you are looking for isn't listed. TacoSpigots, Bungeecords, Waterfalls, Spigots, PaperSpigots and other custom jars are some of the most common. Uploading a custom container is easy. We will help you to guide you through how to upload a custom container file to your server.

You can check which jars we have available to you by using the jar selection dropdown on your server panel. Our guide to changing the server jar can be found here.

How to install a custom-made jar

Resetting the world

After changing the jar type to custom, a popup will ask you if your want to create new worlds. When you change the version of your server, it is highly recommended that you perform a world reset. This will ensure that there are no compatibility issues, especially if you are switching to an older version or if you have mods in your previous world.

Installing the container

1. Log in to your Apex panel and stop the service. 2. Select Custom Server Jar from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down and click Save

4. Click the FTP File Access tab at the left side of the panel to log in.

5. https://nfo.so/ Change the name of the jar you want to upload to custom.jar

6. Open the jar file.

7. Click Upload to drag the custom.jar file onto the page.

8. Once the file has been uploaded successfully, go back to the main page and then start your server.

Console reports "Unable to access Jarfile /jar/custom.jar". This error could be caused by many things. The most common reasons for this error are that the jar is not in the jar folder, that it was renamed incorrectly or that it was corrupted during uploading. In order to resolve this, head into the FTP File Access tab in your server panel and double-check the file is there and named correctly. If after this the issue persists, please repeat the upload process.

Console says missing libraries, or related: You need to consider that some jar file files might require other files or folders in order for them to work properly. These files should be added to the same jar directory on your server panel. Restart your server once you have added the files.
