Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He went to primary and secondary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned an BSc. In Architecture.


AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Chris Oyakhilome Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student. He began exploring ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.

YFC expanded and became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's main office. Oyakhilome Believer's LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions of members around the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.


Chris Oyakhilome With the 2002-themed miracles, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. They stopped airing the programme in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should stop airing miracles on TV.

Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four different branches that include publishing ministry; healing ministry; television ministry; and the teaching ministry. The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and communities through providing participation-based and sustainable interventions such as child development programmes for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children's schools, as well as other programs.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma care International Foundation was founded to increase the quality of life and the longevity in local communities and nations. The foundation also advocates for improved emergency response services in case of emergencies and accidents.
