We're now releasing 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This release adds Allay duplicate and new Player Safety functionality.

- Added Allay duplication – Tweaked Sculk Catalysts.

- Allays will dance to a Record playing in a Jukebox - If the Allay is handed an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate- Duplication has a 5-minute cooldown

Sculk Catalysts are now able to drop 5 XP rather than 20 XP

- Moved the chat scrollbar towards the right. - The sign status of the displayed message is displayed with a colored indicator. It will appear to either the left of chat input or to the left side of chat preview if chat preview has been used. - The indicator is blue when the displayed message has been signed. - The indicator is orange when Chat Preview is enabled. my games A preview is currently being signed.

Chat Trust Status

Messages that are not signed using Secure Chat system or have been tampered or altered by the server, will now be marked. Messages with missing or invalid signatures will be marked "Not Secure"; Messages detected as modified will be marked "Modified".

- The colored indicator is always visible - The icon is only visible when the chat screen is open

- Modified messages can also be displayed in the tooltip.

- Chat Preview option "When Sending", which updates chat previews only when you attempt to send a message. To confirm sending a message, you will need to hit the Enter/Return key twice. - The "ON" setting was renamed to "While Typing".

Player Reporting

Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. The reporter must select the chat messages containing the objectionable content and the category of the complaint. This is to give the best context for our moderation staff to take action. This information is accessible via the social interactions screen.

- Multiple chat messages may be selected for reporting. Additional messages around this selection can also be used to provide further context to our moderation group.

- The Report Categories screen has a "Learn About Reporting" button that links to a help article

Suspensions & Bans

- If you have been suspended from playing online, the game will now display a notice screen. This screen will show the reason and how long it was effective.

Realms

- A message that has been filtered by the Java Realms Profanity Filter will now be marked with a yellow marker - Players will be notified if a chat message they have sent has been fully filtered for one or more receiving players on the Realm

Technical

- The chat input box will no longer apply to custom font glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs with advances greater than 32

Chat Types

- Chat types that were added to the chat_types Registry are now only used by player chat and not system messages. The game_info and system chat types have been deleted

- Chat types do not support overlays. Instead, a system message should be used to display overlays

- This chat parameter is now used in msg_command_outgoing

Components

- The run_command button click event for text elements no longer supports sending chat message directly. Only commands are supported. This means that values must be /prefixed.

- The order of chat messages are now cryptographically verified- This is used for validating the context of chat messages for Player Reports

Server

enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs
