As we mentioned a month ago, Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition comes with a number of unique features including optional support for the DualShock 4 touchpad, save game transfers between PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and "a bunch of Sony-specific DLC coming soon after release."

After Minecraft is released for the PlayStation 4, owners of the game on PS3 can upgrade to the latest version for $5. Developer 4J Studios has yet to disclose a date (or even a vague timeframe) for the game's launch, but if there aren't any issues during testing we expect more information soon. [Image: 4J Studios]
