Apple Arcade celebrated a huge Friday. The $5-a month gaming service launched Fantasian, a brand new RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sachaguchi and Mistwalker as well as Wonderbox The Adventure Maker from Aquiris. Both games were revealed during Apple Arcade's September 2019 launch. The platform also introduced NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition. The service also announced 30 additional titles that are now available.
Both Wonderbox and Fantasian launched in select countries before launching in the US for Apple Arcade subscribers. Fantasian shares its launch date with the launch of Final Fantasy VI 27 years prior according to an official tweet from Sakaguchi. Final Fantasy VI was an inspiration for Fantasian, Sakaguchi told CNET.
Fantasian RPG legend Sakaguchi has kept players fed over the last few years with updates on the development of Fantasian, screenshots, concept artwork and more on his social media site. Sakaguchi, Mistwalker started hints in January that the new mobile RPG would be launched this year.

The story of Fantasian centers around Leo the protagonist, a young man who lost all of his memories after an explosion in a magic-tech hybrid plant. Leo wakes up in a world controlled by machines and is determined to find his father. He has one clue: a recurring vision of a young girl. When Leo arrives in En, an old frontier town that is dusty and meets Kina -the woman in his fantasy.
They embark on an adventure to recover Leo's memories, and discover their destiny. As Leo's past unravels and other secrets are revealed in the multi-dimensional adventure the balance between order and chaos is becoming more difficult to maintain.

Fantasian features more than 150 hand-crafted dioramas that form the game's setting as well as a gorgeous soundtrack by the legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.
Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker Brazilian gaming studio Aquiris' Wonderbox. The Adventure Maker, formerly known under the name Box Project, joined Apple Arcade's huge games catalog on Friday. Wonderbox is a 3D adventure game that lets you explore a nearly endless world via "boxes" and portals. If you're a fan of Minecraft or Monument Valley, this is definitely a game you should check out.
The controls are easy to master using simple tapping and swipe mechanics. Straight away, you'll be confronted by the village matriarch who has tasked you with finding the Heart of Adventure to restore the landscape. You can rotate the area and adjust your view angle by swiping on the screen when you go through portals and boxes, similar to floating islands.
Wonderbox lets you participate in campaigns that unlock an adventure for gamers as well as a discovery mode that lets you search for an adventure, and multiplayer which lets you host or join a group with up to four players. You can also Create and create your own adventure. You can continue adding adventures to the game.
