Minecraft Gets Twitch-y Thanks to new Partnership For Integrated Streaming


Twitch and Mojang have teamed up to offer an integrated streaming experience for indie sensation Minecraft The two companies announced this partnership at MineCon today. Players on PC and Mac with a Twitch account will be able to easily stream their games to their Twitch.tv channels "soon," according to the press release.



Matthew DiPietro, vice president of marketing at Twitch said in the same press release that Minecraft has "struck an extremely powerful chord" with Twitch users. Twitch Announces Minecraft Partnership at MINECON 2013



PC and MAC gamers of Mojang's Minecraft will soon be able to broadcast their games on Twitch at the click of button



SAN FRANCISCO- November 2 2013- Twitch is the world's most popular video platform and community for gamers, today announced at the sold-out MineCon convention the formation of a partnership with Mojang to bring broadcasting functionality to Minecraft. The integration of Twitch into Minecraft's PC and MAC versions of the most popular game lets players broadcast directly to their Twitch channels. Soon, Twitch functionality is available.
