Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God's Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who instilled her faith in God's grace to her son from the beginning.
The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several international best-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon is following in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the World. As well as being known by CSO her name, she is a talented, award winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. While at Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to join the ministry and be an obedient servant of the Lord.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production and programming on television.
