Nina clicked the button to end her stream as she read the last few 'good bye' messages from chat. Her legs hurt, how long had she been streaming? She tried to get up to stretch her legs but as soon as she stood up her head started to swim. She stumbled slightly over her feet and put her hand against the wall to steady herself. "Mommy really needs to stop day drinking" she mumbled to herself. A few more steps and she fell again, harder this time against the wall. "H-Honey? I thi..." Her vision was going spotty as she called out for you. Using the wall to steady herself she took a few more steps and turned to go into the hallway. "Honey? I ne.. I need help" She tried as hard as she could to raise her voice but her throat was like sand. She hoped you were in the bedroom and began to make her way there. It was this door, wasn't it? She tried to remember which door was the bedroom but any attempts at recalling it made the pain in her head worse. No, no it must be the second door. Or was it the third door. Third door? Had there always been this many doors in the hallway? She stopped to rest at the first door. No, that wasn't right, she had already passed the first door. Didn't she? Nina turned around to make sure but was met only with the sight of the staircase leading up to the second floor. No, that couldn't be... She had just been in her streaming room. Her feet hurt so badly. How long had she been walking? Her vision was starting to tunnel as she saw you looking down at her from the top of the stairs. "Oh, thank god. Honey you..." Nina's voice was a barely audible rasp racked with painful coughing. "Honey, wait!" She tried to call out for you again as she saw you start walking away. Gripping the banister with both hands she began trying to climb stairs. Her feet and ankles and thighs were burning in pain, every step almost agony for the fox. Her head was lolling down to her chest now and she was barely able to keep her eyes open for more than a few seconds. She could hear her footsteps going up but the top of the stairs was never any closer when she opened her eyes. She felt her grasp on the banister weakening. "Honey, h-help..." As her eyes opened again she saw the ceiling. She was falling. Right as she hit the ground...

Nina blinked her eyes a few times, her goodbye screen looked so bright today. She could feel a dull pain in her legs as she hit the button to end the stream. Everyone in the chat was saying good night to her. Good night? But there was sun shining in through the windows. She tried to look out the window but the light was nearly blinding, making her head ache and forcing her to look away. Her head was woozy as she stood up so she thought it best to go take some medicine for it. As she took a few steps she stumbled into the wall. "Mommy really needs to quit day drinking." She thought to herself. Using the wall for support she took a few more steps and turned into the hall- Her vision went dark for a few moments as she held her head. She had slammed her forehead straight into the wall. The wall? She ran her hands against it to be sure. But where...? She turned and saw the entrance to the hallway at the other end of the room with you standing down at the end. "Honey, I think something is wr-" Her call to you was cut short by a painful coughing fit.  When she had finished coughing and looked back up you were gone. The light shining through the windows was getting brighter and her headache was getting worse. With her hand against the wall she began to make the trudge across the room. The closer she got to the hallway, the longer the hallway itself seemed to get, and it almost seemed like it was... moving? Nina lowered her head and rubbed her eyes, attempting to banish these strange hallucinations. She looked back up to find herself face to face, so to speak, with her bedroom wall. Bedroom? But she was.. "What's.... wha.. What's happening?" The dizziness was growing worse and she had to slump her whole body against the wall just to keep from falling down. "Nina, are you okay?" Nina turned around to find you laying in bed. "Oh, h-honey, I think I nee..." Nina tried to take the few short steps to the bed but with nothing to support her she found herself falling. She watched the floor coming closer and closer, almost in slow motion, and just as her face hit the ground...

Nina's head ached. She told her chat she was sorry but she had to end the stream early. She looked to the chatbox to see their response but she couldn't read any of them. Everyone was writing in some foreign language she couldn't understand. "I'm sorry if you are just getting here from Millie's stream but... but I..." She looked down at her keyboard to type an apology message to Millie, but her keys were all covered in... blood? As she stared down at the blood on her fingers, more blood dripped onto her palm. Her nose was bleeding and it was bleeding pretty bad. "Honey, can you bring me-" As Nina turned her head to call down the hallway to you her eyes found only the wall. Looking the other way gave her a similar sight. "Honey, I think something is..." Her voice trailed off as she looked behind her, only another empty wall. She faced forward again and was temporarily blinded by her monitor. It was so bright. A searing pain was forming behind her eyes and her headache was getting worse. "Honey? Honey this isn't.. Honey this.. Honey..." The floor was spinning as Nina looked down, her fingers pressed to her temples. She tried to focus her vision, she needed to contact someone, anyone to help. She looked down at the keys but all the letters were different, she couldn't understand what she was seeing. Her ears were filled with a dull ringing that would only get worse when she tried to look at the screen. The chair felt uneven, like one of the legs was too short, and she started to wobble back and forth. She tried to grab the table for support but she couldn't move her arms. The last thing she saw was the blinding light of her computer monitor as she started to fall backwards...

You could already hear the yelling inside as you walked up to your front door. Standing on the front porch you take a moment to compose yourself. It had been like this for months now but you still couldn't get used to it. You walked to the entrance to the living room and saw Enna sitting next to the source of the yelling, Nina. "She's been like this for hours." Enna said, standing up to walk out of the room. Her voice used to sound sad but now she only sounded exasperated. In the beginning, someone talking about Nina's condition in that tone of voice would have made you angry but things were different now. If anything, you liked Enna's turns as Nina's caregiver the most these days. The girls all took turns helping to look after Nina when you had to leave the house. At least Enna had the decency to still talk to you like a person, the other girls always looked at you with that deep pity in their eyes. Nina was having another one of her episodes. Life had been hard since the accident. It still sounded selfish when you thought about it considering Nina's condition, but it had still made things bad for you too. Traumatic brain injury the doctor had told you. Normally, on good days, Nina could just sit in her chair, you would put on her favorite old records for her but inside you knew she couldn't hear them. But on days like today, "Honey? Honey? HONEY? HONEY! HONEY! HONEY! HONEY!" Nina's voice was starting to go rasp from the intermittent screaming. The doctor told you that while Nina's response to outside stimuli would be very limited at best, inside her brain was still capable of activity and could produce hallucinations. Episodes where she had these hallucinations were awful. She would sit in her chair crying and screaming and yelling for you over and over, unaware that you were right in front of her even as you held her hand. You waited for the sound of Enna closing the front door before allowing yourself to cry.
