"I’m on my third tub of Oyoma whipped Shea butter and I can honestly say that this is the best body butter I’ve ever used. Following Oyoma’s Instagram advice, I always apply it to damp skin straight of the shower. This top tip is actual magic for my dry skin, and also makes the product last longer as I don’t use as much. I’ve been using this Shea butter for about 4 months and my skin is so much happier, softer and smoother. Thank you, Oyoma!"
Note from the Founder
I started Oyoma Beauty to address the fact that I still had to mix and match products to get optimal skincare products for my body. With our products, I thought why not leverage that and create a line that allows you to tailor your skincare to your skin needs.
Watch this space to see how we bring together our range of products harnessing the nourishing power of natural ingredients like Shea butter, aloe vera and jojoba oil.
You’ll only be able to find our products here, and on our Amazon store, for you to buy Shea butter online.
Oyoma was born from a desire to create a minimalist, all-natural, zero-waste skincare product with Shea butter at its core. In Urhobo, the language of the Urhobo tribe hailing from Southern Nigeria, Oyoma means, 'I am well.'
West Africans understand the importance of moisturising daily as an act of both self-care and self-preservation. Nigerian shea butter is the perfect natural ingredient, although can be thick and heavy. It has been made lighter through the whipping process and combined it with a blend of with essential oils to lock in moisture, soften the skin, while light enough to use every day in any environment.
With a Nigerian heritage bringing experience of changing skin type across climates and environments, she sought to create a range that would combine natural ingredients, sourced sustainably and that would give a sense of the luxurious to an otherwise abundant ingredient - shea butter.
