Step 1: Duly-fill & sign the copy of the attached Surrender Request Form

Step 2: Visit nearest Tata AIA life Insurance branch with the documents listed below:


Ø  Photograph (Policyholder)

Ø  Duly filled Surrender form (Attached)

Ø  NEFT details along with copy of personalized cheque / Photocopy of Bank Passbook

Ø  Original policy document (Not required if you have electronic-Insurance Account (e-IA)

Ø  Copy of Address proofof policyholder

Ø  Copy Identity proofof policyholder

Ø  NRI Declaration & FATCA Form (Applicable only for NRI Customers)

Ø  NRI - Form 10F (in case of tax benefit under DTAA, to avoid double taxation)


The NAV applicable will be of the date of request received and NAV of the same date, if request is received before 3 PM or next business day NAV, if received after 3 PM.


Step 3: Submit your request to the branch in-charge and once your documents are submitted for processing, it will take 06 days for the request to get processed.
