What Exactly Is Malaria Diagnostics

The spread of malaria has not completely been halted despite years of usage of preventative methods. Total eradication is the end objective. The difficulty of a precise diagnosis is crucial to the many tactics used to accomplish the goal. Numerous diagnostic techniques have been applied over the years in various geographical and regional situations, and they have often produced a diversity of findings. In this review, we focused on the Malaria Diagnostics  methods that were most successful in endemic regions, pre-elimination, and elimination stages. Malaria can be diagnosed using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). These methods hold a great deal of promise in areas with a low prevalence of illnesses that RDTs may be unable to detect. The high sensitivity PCR process amplifies the parasite's DNA.
